Da Board

~ blonde redhead ~
hi, once upon a time I had a blog on this site, so long ago I don't even remember what I had called it..
~ blonde redhead ~
I started reading yours through a random sequence of events, you posted on mine a few times, this was a number of years ago,
~ blonde redhead ~
I got rid of my blog, it chronicled the downward spiral of my relationship with my ex, something that hurt too much to keep online, my point... yes I do have one..
~ blonde redhead ~
bear with me though, its my last day of work, and I'm alone and there was a bottle of wine in the fridge which I downed...
~ blonde redhead ~
is that you're not alone, and random stranger like me read your thoughts and care and know the pain of life and being alone..
~ blonde redhead ~
I guess thats all, sorry for consuming your board, I wish you all the best and don't stop writing, my life would be far more boring if you did..

Boo. Almost Christmas and I'm almost prepared. Got S an exceptional present this year. I'm really proud of myself.

I can't be bothered with anything these days. Basically not much noteworthy happening. I feel like an empty room. I've more or less been doing nothing.

Hey Dan! Hope you are doing alright these days!

Manchester - Day 1

posted Tuesday, 10 January 2006
On Friday 6th January 2006 I left work an hour early. Rina's train was arriving at 16:24. I had been a little optimistic in only giving myself 24 minutes to get there. I think when I first decided it would be enough I thought it was about 35 minutes. I arrived in the station just a few minutes late feeling glad that I had warned her I might not be on time. It took me a few seconds of scanning the room and there she was. The most beautiful sight I had seen since I left New York. I caught her eye and we walked towards each other. We met, exchanged a few words, hugged and kissed. We hardly stopped kissing for the next three days. I led her down to the tram stop and we caught a tram home. We could have taken a taxi, but I wanted us to have a little time together before I introduced her to the family and I wanted her to see my journey home. When we are so far apart for so much time, it's good to share the little everyday aspects of our lives when we get the chance.

We got home and Rina met everyone (except Sister #2 who was away for the weekend, annoyingly enough). My Love was very nervous and was worrying far too much about everything she said, but she got through it. I was there to hold her hand. We had a short break from all that stress (for her) and then we all (Mum, Dad, Li'l Bro, Sister #1, Stee, Rina and myself) went out for dinner. We had a nice time and although she was uncomfortable, I think Rina was glad we went. After that we spent some time in front of the telly with the family. Stee wanted us to go back to his place (mainly because it was tidy for the first time ever) but we were both tired so an early night was in order.

Rina had brought with her a lovely gift. She bought me a travel clock which shows two different times, so when I look at it I'll always know the time where My Love is. I hadn't got her anything. I might have felt bad about that, but it's impossible to feel bad when I'm with her. She's cute.

It was incredible to be with her again.

1. Rina left...

You were barely late at all, I was only waiting for a minute or less. It was so good to see you again that you could have been forever late and I would have forgotten it right after seeing you. Kissing you. We really were kissing all weekend. Coincidentally every damned time your dad walked into the room. It's not surprise he's not my biggest fan! By the way, it was nice to see a slice of your life, coming home by tram. It was cute seeing the road you walk, the pedestrian subway, the door to door "what number is this one?"

Yes, I was uncomfortable especially that first night, but it was well worth it. I don't think I left the greatest impression on your family. Well, I'll have more itme to try again.

It would have been nice to see Stee's place, but there'll be more time for taht as well. We'll just have to make them tidy up again!

I liked the clock, but I don't know about the fruitcake ...

I miss you. One more day!
