London - Day 2
posted Sunday, 5 February 2006
On the Thursday morning we had to get up because Rina had a class. The walk to where she was staying was probably under fifteen minutes, not too bad at all. While she was in class I had a shower, lazed around, did some reading, drank orange juice. It wasn't a bad start to my day by any means! When she was done we went to the National Gallery and spent quite a long time there. We had fun and we only left because Rina was about ready to pass out from hunger. We still hadn't eaten since my arrival! We found a local pizza place and had a nice meal there. After that we went to the hotel for a while. Rina had a play to go to that night, so I escourted her there and then went back to watch the telly. I was intending to go online but I discovered that I'd cleverly lugged my laptop all the way to London and left the charger at home. Not being as healthy as it once was, my laptop discharges its battery in about three minutes.
When her play was over Rina sent me a text and I went to meet her at the tube station. We got some Chinese food before bedtime. Apart from the small amount of time we had to spend apart, it was a really nice day. A lot of fun. I love being with her.
