Day 2

Saturday was wonderful. Waking up to Rina was just perfect. We were in no hurry to leave. We had a lazy morning doing nothing. Eventually we got ourselves up and found out how to get to the train station. This involved using a bus. The bus was a while away so we got a donut and a muffin and missed the bus. The muffin was well worth it though, and we were ludicrously happy. We managed to get the next bus and were in good time for the train. This was fortunate because the ticket machines are stupid, just like the ones over here. Stupid in a refreshing new way though :)
One stop into our journey Rina spotted her friend Moriah getting on the train, so we went to find her and spent the rest of the journey chatting (well, I was filling the role of listener). It was all very nice.
We parted company with Moriah at Grand Central Station and asked the very nice lady in the information booth for some directions. She asked if we wanted to walk or take the Metro, but then decided it would be nice for us to walk as we are so "cute and in love". We must have been very obvious. We had a nice walk around the city and only almost got hit by cars a handful of times. We did some shopping. I got a nice tie. Rina loves the tie. If you ask I'm sure she'll show you the picture! We went into Chinatown and bought some exciting things there and then we decided to get back to the hotel. We needed our bed!
After a fairly short break we left the hotel again, and went to SLC (Rina's college). Moriah was in a dance thing that evening so we went to see it. It was also a nice chance to meet up with some of Rina's friends and see the places she spends her time. Some of the dance performances were good. We found some of them a little boring. Perhaps we're just not arty enough. It's hard to stay awake when you're tired and sitting in the dark. I did enjoy Moriah's performance though, and that's what we went for really. After that we went to the Pub (sadly it's not actually a pub at all, more of a cafeteria) with a few people for food and conversation. I didn't say much, but then I never do.
Saturday was such a good day. Every day was.
